3Sound controlling speaker sound dominating  Oct 19, 2009
Hi friends i have this speaker and used it for a week and return them back because the sound from one speaker is dominating all the speaker's sound we can't able to recognize the other speakers. Other than this all the other are very good like the design of the speakers sound quality, bass effect

5Exactly what I wanted  Sep 12, 2009
So I picked these up to replace my aging DTT2500 5.1 system. And I have to say that I am very satisfied with my decision since the T6100 system matches the DTT2500 in performance and exceeds it in compatibility while costing but a fraction of what I paid for the DTT2500 system 10 years ago.

These are powerful speakers for their size. They sound great and output 5.1 sound from games as was expected of them. You'd be hard pressed to find speakers that sound this good at this price. As opposed to my DTT2500 system, these speakers have little to no hiss when silent.

The system hooks up through the subwoofer module and is very easy to do. Inputs come from 3 stereo cables that hook into your sound card. They are dedicated for front, center/sub and rear channels. Most modern sound cards that are onboard or add-on use this type of output, so this was a big reason for my decision to upgrade from the DTT2500. The DTT2500 required a Digital DIN and SPDIF but you still had a silennt center channel in games. The T6100 system gets 5.1 sound in games perfectly without screwing around with sound settings in windows before you start.

Controlling the speakers is done through the right front speaker. There, the volume control can be used to adjust volume (obviously) and turn the system on or off. There is a blue LED light when the speakers are on. It's kind of bright but you can take a sharpie and color it in to dull it a bit. In addition, there's a headphone jack on the control speaker for convenience of hooking up headphones. As standard, the speakers are muted when you hook up headphones.

Other than that, you get little stands for the speakers or they could be mounted on walls via the screw hole in the back if you desire. Apparently the satellite speakers support speaker stands, but they don't come in the package. You must purchase those separately.

In all, I would definitely recommend these speakers. They are priced right and give you all the features you would want for a decent 5.1 system for games and movies. I am very happy with them.

4great for price  Aug 31, 2009
well i bought it for $50 something dollars and it works great. i have great sound quality. and the bass is pretty nice. its not perfect or boise or anyhting but great. also normally one would find this exact thing for 80-121 dollars. i went to 3 stores and all were those prices. 2 cons: bass is a bit too much for my tastes but can be managed with software and a sock in the sub lol. also wehn the volume on the speakers is set too low a low tremor sound is heard. like buzzing. very odd. so just turn it up. and set the source volume lower. i'm 22 college student and i give it a 4 to 4 and a one half.

5Great Sound Low price  Mar 22, 2009
for the price is a very good buy. audio quality without being something of another galaxy's tasks. in very high volume pretty lost quality, but is expected in this price range. to half the total power is heard quite well.
i recomend these parlants
